the radiation detector, the levels of radiation were rising
higher and higher. We ran to help an old lady but then
something weird happened. She began to shake just like
that monster did before blood oozed out of her eyes, nose,
and mouth. Spikes and a tail came out of the old woman’s
skin. She now was pure muscle. Her eyes turned into an
infinite void of nothingness. Her teeth fell out before her
now crocodilian skin became sharper. Then the woman
turned into a monster...!

“Boss? There are more…” Ronnie said.

I turned to see that there were not tens not hundreds but
thousands…! The only word I could muster was “Run…!”

We ran. Now I understood why we were given guns. We
started to fire at those things. It luckily did make them
bleed, slowing them down.
“Nathan, you moron! You didn’t bother preparing us for
this?!” Vincent screamed.

Luckily, we saw some soldiers who fought bravely buying
us time to escape. There was a helicopter in which we got
on. We looked out to witness pure horror—Buildings were
destroyed…multiple people were mutated and mutating…
and that thing destroyed anything in its way. Then
Nathan spoke up.

“We might be dealing with a global pandemic.” Nathan
said.

“A global goddamn pandemic…” Vincent replied.
