CHAPTER 2

THE ATTACK

When I reached deeper waters, I saw a massive cave
with a hole on top from our drill. It was covered in blood,
presumably from the creature. My theory is that the
creature was trapped in the cave, and when the drill hit it,
it awoke and managed to break free. Additionally, I found
a ripped tail that did not belong to the creature, indicating
that there may be smaller creatures present as well.

I hurried back to the base to tell everyone about what I
had seen. “Guys, I think I figured out where that thing
came from!” Before anyone could say a word, we heard a
loud screeching. Suddenly, an army of creatures emerged
from the water. They looked like corrupted, otherworldly
versions of raptors, not something from this planet. They
were about as tall as grown men, and there were about
50 of them, ready to kill! “Run, everyone!” I was in my
swimsuit, so I couldn’t run properly. I slipped and thought
I was going to die, but then I was pulled into a room as
the raptors passed by. When I opened my eyes, I found
myself in the captain’s room, surrounded by Vincent,
Ronnie, William, and Michael. “Oh my God...” Vincent
said in a scared voice as he looked at the cameras.

The whole crew was torn apart by the raptors. Michael
started hyperventilating. After calming him down, I
explained everything to them.
